Restaurant Las Chimeneas with its panoramic views from the terrace and welcoming fireplace in winter offers the very best of local cooking after a day's activity in the mountains.

Casa las Chimeneas is a beautiful Andalusian home high in the Eastern Alpujarran mountain range which has splendid views down to the typical whitewashed villages of the area and to the Mediterranean beyond. This is very possibly one of the most stunning undiscovered areas of Spain where life continues untouched by tourism as it has done for hundreds of years since the Moors first farmed their terraces of almonds, olives and vegetables irrigated by the abundant fresh mountain springs. If you are looking for a tranquil break in countryside which caters for anybody from the most ambitious walkers to those who would simply appreciate the beauty of the area to paint or to read , this may be an ideal destination.
